A few years ago our fantasy baseball league began a movement to create keeper franchises. Each team developed an additional franchise to house their minor league players until they could be call up to the big show. When i sat down to figure out what my team should be called it really didn't take me long to come to a conclusion. Growing up in Columbus, OH i always loved to go to Clippers games at Cooper Stadium. One of the Clippers most popular promotions was Dime A' Dog Night. As a result sitting in a modest ball park with a lap full of 10 cent hot dogs became my association as to what minor league baseball was about. Thus the Dime A' Dogs minor league club was born.
